ILTA TITLE PLANT CERTIFICATION PROGRAM MEMBERS
Enrollment in the ILTA Title Plant Certification Program is for ILTA Members Only and requires reinspection of the plant every seven (7) years. Certified plant owners receive a certified plant logo, certificate and designation on the ILTA website. Inspections will be performed from the date of the most recent successful inspection to within 30 days of the date of the inspection. On the seventh year following your inspection date, reinspections must be scheduled and completed within 60 days prior to or no later than 60 days past the inspection due date. (An extension may be granted at the discretion of the ILTA Board).

NOTICE: ILTA Title Plant Inspections are performed by members of the ILTA Title Plant Inspection Committee and to the specifications of the ILTA Title Plant Inspection Guidelines. The criteria for a title plant inspection, including for members that choose to join the ILTA Title Plant Certification Program, has been created internally by the ILTA and are the minimum standards. The Guidelines are not intended to be part of any other title plant inspection standard, and the ILTA does not warranty the accuracy of the title plant. An ILTA Title Plant Inspection should not be used as the criteria to sell, purchase or lease an inspected title plant. A title plant contains thousands of instruments and a random selection of documents for an inspection could not possibly detect all potential errors or omissions in a title plant. It is the responsibility of the title plant owner or any firm or corporation to ensure that their title plant is accurate and up-to-date
NOTICE OF DISCLAIMER: The Title Plant Inspection Committee of the Iowa Land Title Association (ILTA) has made every effort in its inspection and certification of title plants to ensure that said title plants meet the minimum standards of the ILTA in accuracy and completeness. However, no liability is assumed by ILTA, its officers, directors, committee members or employees in the certification of any title plant, either verbally, in writing or on the ILTA website. No warranty, either expressed or implied, is granted from ILTA to anyone utilizing any title plant certified by ILTA, whether directly in preparation of title search products or indirectly in the interpretation and/or examination of title search products.
